The webcam has been turned off while we assess the feasibility of moving the camera to another nest.

The 2017/18 live stream featured the nest of YWK and KGY. YWK is the male albatross and KGY is the female (named from the coloured bands on their left leg). Their egg was laid on 7 November 2017 and the chick hatched on 22 January 2018

The Royal cam albatross chick died after it was attacked 18 February 2018 by a parent. This is an unusual incident for the colony and the behaviour is not common.
